Andreína Amaya
Sonographer
Andreína holds a Foreign Medical Graduate Degree and completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology as an MD Radiologist (Caracas, Venezuela)
Andreína is an APCA (Alliance for Physician Certification & Advancement) certified breast sonographer, the physician-centered board certified ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography).
She has an individualized approach to patient care and loves that she can provide women in the Miami area with radiation-free breast ultrasounds using the advanced SonoCiné® AWBUS (Automated Whole Breast Ultrasound). Born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, Andreína attended the Central University of Venezuela (UCV) and obtained a Medical Degree with a specialty in Radiology.
She completed a fellowship at the Policlinica Metropolitana in Caracas specializing in breast imaging. Her passion for breast imaging has led her to remain focused on the fight against breast cancer and when she learned about the SonoCiné® technology, she understood that it was the method that was needed to begin to change the history of breast cancer, due to its effectiveness in all types of breast tissue and therefore in all age groups, confronting this dreaded disease from an early age.
Andreína Amaya has experience in performing a wide range of ultrasounds, including thyroid, pelvis, abdomen, arterial-venous Doppler, carotid artery Doppler and breast. Shortly after emigrating to a new country, Andreína was introduced to the SonoCiné® AWBUS whole breast technology, which allows her to detect cancerous lesions as small as 3 millimeters. Andreína knows she has a purpose, to save lives, and believes that God gave her the opportunity to learn about SonoCiné® technology to fulfill her purpose and save lives.
WE PRESENT YOU SONOCINE, YOUR ALLY IN EARLY DETECTION
The best tool for the early and accurate detection of small breast cancer, with high sensitivity for the detection of cancers smaller than 10mm, up to 3mm in patients with dense breasts and patients with breast implants regardless of age.
Cancers this small are called Stage Zero, usually resulting in zero chemo, zero radiation, and zero mastectomies.
Why Can Automated Whole Breast Ultrasound See Where Mammography Can't?
MAMMOGRAM
- Dense breast tissue is WHITE
- Cancer is WHITE
- White on White = Early Detection Failure
SonoCiné
- Dense breast tissue is WHITE
- Cancer is BLACK
- Black on white = Early Detection Success!
